Anti-corruption

Corruption is one of the main threats to the national security of any State. In particular, it threatens the rule of law, slows down the process of socio-economic development of the country, building an efficient economy and attracting investment, hinders competition, expands the shadow economy sector and reduces tax revenues to the budget, undermines trust in the authorities and the moral foundations of society as a whole.

The Republic of Belarus has formed a principled position of the state on combating corruption and its criminal manifestations.

Open Joint Stock Company Agency of International Business Development (hereinafter – the Agency) in its daily activities within the framework of the organization and implementation of anti-corruption work is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 15, 2015 No. 305-Z "On combating Corruption", other legal acts in the field of combating corruption.

The heads of our structural divisions, including subsidiaries of BR-Wood LLC and Agency of Servicization and Reengineering OJSC, are constantly providing work on the prevention of corruption offenses, clarification of norms aimed at strengthening discipline and order, exclusion of cases of criminally punishable actions of employees related to the violation of anti-corruption legislation.

Measures for the high-quality recruitment of the Agency by professionally decent employees are carried out on a systematic basis and begin already at the stage of their recruitment. In particular, the autobiography of a potential candidate, recommendations and characteristics from previous jobs (studies), his civic position are studied, knowledge and compliance with anti-corruption legislation are analyzed.

Interaction with law enforcement and regulatory authorities engaged in the fight against corruption has been organized.

In order to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on the prevention of corruption and improve the issues of legal regulation of anti–corruption in the Agency, eliminate the causes and conditions that give rise to its manifestation, the Anti-Corruption Commission (hereinafter – the Commission) was established by order of the Director General.

Meetings of the Commission are held as necessary, but at least once a half-year at the address: Minsk, Chapaev str. 4a.
